Prior to embarking on her teaching career, Mrs. Sargent, affectionately called “Sarge,” sang professionally. She is certified as a UConn ECE Instructor and a member of the Connecticut Music Educators Association and the National Association for Music Education. Mrs. Sargent and her husband spend a great deal of time around pools officiating at local, regional and national swim meets while their daughters compete.
