In 2015, Ms. Boynton was awarded a faculty fellowship at the University of Oxford, England, where she experienced dynamic new structures for engaging and challenging students. Prior to her teaching career, Ms. Boynton held senior positions in editorial, public relations and development with the Jewish Home for the Aged, Bunting and Lyon, and Stamler Publishing Company. A member of National Council of Teachers of English and a NEH Grant recipient as an Emily Dickinson Scholar, Amherst College, she also co-authored The Drug Free Home. Her interests include reading, classical music, theatre and travel, and she is a loyal-since-birth fan of the Boston Red Sox!
