For two decades, the Science Olympics has been one of Lauralton Hall’s most beloved traditions, offering girls in grades 5–8 the opportunity to dive into hands-on challenges, collaborate in teams, and see themselves as future scientists and innovators. This year’s anniversary celebration featured engaging, real-world activities that encouraged critical thinking and teamwork across multiple STEM disciplines.

At Lauralton Hall, preparing students for college isn't just about applications, deadlines, and transcripts — it's about building genuine connections and gathering first-hand knowledge. That’s why the college counseling team takes to the road each summer, visiting colleges and universities across the country to better guide students in their post-secondary planning. 

On Mercy Day, Lauralton Hall welcomed Milford Mayor Tony Giannattasio to campus for a special presentation in honor of the school’s 120th anniversary.

"May those who receive these blankets know they are seen, they are valued, they are part of your beloved family— not strangers, but neighbors beneath the same merciful cloak."

Lauralton Hall recently welcomed back a very special visitor, Gail Charter Negaard, a former student from the 1940s who traveled from Richmond, Virginia, with her son and daughter-in-law. Though she later moved to Florida, her roots are deeply connected to Lauralton and to Milford.

Lauralton Hall was thrilled to invite the community to its 2nd Annual Concert on the Lawn, a free event designed to bring together current families, alumnae, and the vibrant Milford community.
