The Musical Theater program at Lauralton is a rich performing arts experience open to students of all grades, whether they choose to run the back of the house or audition for a lead role. Each fall, our students take the stage for a major musical production.

Lauralton’s 2019 production of Pirates of Penzance earned seven Halo High School Theatre Awards nominations, winning in two categories for “Best Classical Musical” and “Best Leading Actress in a Classical Musical” for Erin Paranel '21 from among more than 80 Connecticut high schools participating.

Lauralton's 2021 production of Snoopy! The Musical earned four Halo High School Theatre Award Nominations, winning "Best Original Program Cover Design or Artwork" by Ava Breisler '22.

Past productions include Disney's High School Musical, The Addams Family, SPAMALOT, Shrek: The Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, Beauty and the Beast,  Into the Woods, and Cats.
