One of the unique extracurricular activities at Lauralton Hall is the student-run play. Each year, students serve in the following positions, providing a true leadership experience: producer, director, stage manager, set designer, costume designer, prop master, and all other behind-the-scenes positions. Lauralton students from all four grade levels participate as actors and stage crew members. 

More recent productions have included Clue, The Outsiders, Little Women, Almost, Maine, The Three Musketeers, Arsenic and Old Lace, Thornton Wilder’s  Our Town, and the courtroom drama Twelve Angry Jurors.

 

Lauralton Hall's talented theater students celebrated an unforgettable evening at the Halo Awards in May 2026, recognizing excellence in high school theater across Connecticut. We are especially proud to congratulate Sara Higgins '26, who earned the Halo Award for Best Performance in a Comic Male Role in a Play for her outstanding portrayal of Colonel Mustard in Clue.
