UConn Early College Experience (ECE) is a concurrent enrollment program that provides academically motivated students the opportunity to take UConn courses at Lauralton Hall for both high school and college credit. Every course taken through UConn ECE is equivalent to the same course at the University of Connecticut. Lauralton Hall teachers who are certified as adjunct professors through the University of Connecticut teach the UConn ECE courses. Students who are enrolled in UConn ECE courses must complete all requirements as mandated by UConn (including mid-term and final exams). To support rigorous learning, University of Connecticut academic resources, including library and online classroom access, are available to all UConn ECE students. UConn ECE students must successfully complete the course with a grade of C or above in order to receive University credit. The majority of students who take University of Connecticut courses through the UConn ECE program have successfully transferred their UConn credits to the colleges/universities of their choice.** UConn ECE courses are $35 per credit plus a University Resource Fee of $20 per course (three-credit course = $125). UConn ECE bills are sent directly to the student via email. Bills are sent after the students' course enrollment is complete. More information on this program is available on the UConn ECE website.

Online School for Girls
Online education is the fastest growing segment of education today, and it will continue to grow in the future as more and more schools and professions look to online education and training. Considering current research, it is a fair to make the assumption that all of our students will at some point take a class online, so we are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity to our girls.Lauralton Hall is affiliated with the Online School for Girls. Girls’ schools from across the country participate in this innovative educational opportunity, engaging more and more students in high quality, independent school online courses. At Lauralton, juniors and seniors have the opportunity to enroll in these online classes.
We know that online education is particularly well suited to girls who are independent, motivated, and mature. Taking an online course requires the ability to manage time well and to stay on top of tasks. In addition, we hope that girls interested in taking courses will also be excited about the possibility of trying something new and meeting girls from around the world. The Online School for Girls offers a variety of courses that will engage and challenge your daughter.
Juniors and seniors have the opportunity to submit a proposal to the Academic Dean for enrollment in an online elective course as part of the six (6) credits per year requirement. Tuition for these courses is not covered by Lauralton Hall. Since we are an affiliate school, our students receive tuition discounts. Discounted tuition is $1449 for a full year course.
Course offering for the 2016-2017 school year can be found on the Online School for Girls website.
