On Friday, October 22 Lauralton Hall's #PinkWeek culminated in the 6th Annual Mary Ann Wasil Daisy Run!

In a special way during Pink Week the Lauralton community remembers Mary Ann Wasil, founder of the Get In Touch Foundation who launched the Daisy Wheel, an interactive, safe, and easy-to-use tool showing the eight steps for a breast self-exam. Read more about Mary Ann Wasil, whose daughter Betsy Nilan now serves as president of the Get in Touch Foundation which has distributed over 1,000,000 Daisy Wheels globally. The Daisy Run event featured a one-hour presentation with Guest speaker Betsy Nilan, and was followed by a run/walk on the LH track in celebration of the theme Courage & Faith to Hope & Strength.
