On Friday, April 26 eight members of the engineering team presented at the Sikorsky STEM Competition hosted at the University of New Haven. 

Placing 3rd out of 11 teams, these young women did an excellent job demonstrating their working prototype which was designed to identify a LED light that indicates a fire. It then stops at the desired level to launch a foam dart into the targeted window. The design is semi-autonomous, requires minimal human interaction regarding inputs, and adheres to the Sikorsky and derived requirements.

We commend the entire engineering team for their hard work and dedication this year!
