Lauralton Hall seeking Director of Development

The Academy of Our Lady of Mercy, Lauralton Hall, an independent, college-preparatory day school for girls (grades 9-12), seeks a Director of Development. Responsibilities of the position include providing oversight for the Development staff; designing and managing the fundraising program including annual fund appeals, fund and friend-raising events, major gifts strategy, corporate and foundation proposals, planned gifts, and cultivating relationships with the school’s many constituencies.  

The Director reports to the President, is a key member of the President’s Leadership Team, and serves on the Development Committee of the Board of Trustees. The position offers an opportunity to work on the planning and implementation of a capital campaign and grow a department that is crucial to the school’s future. 

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with at least five years of proven fundraising success with measurable results as well as a strong working knowledge of Raiser's Edge and standard research sites such as LexisNexis.
