Ms. McAdams has spent her life asking the “big questions;” it brings her joy to be with students as they do the same. She aims to model curiosity, empathy, and inclusion in her lessons. Multiple strands of Christian thought have influenced her convictions, and she enjoys interfaith dialogue. Throughout her ministry in secondary boarding schools and university chaplaincies, Ms. McAdams has worn many hats in addition to teacher: preacher, retreat leader, dorm parent, and coach are some. Her interests include tea, art, spirituality, psychology, and storytelling. For Ms. McAdams, humor is holy.
