Capital Campaigns and Major Gifts

Every healthy school or non-profit organization, from time to time, must engage in fund raising designed to secure significant major gifts to address a significant major need.
For example, Lauralton Hall conducted a Capital Campaign in 1998 to increase the endowment and partially fund construction of the new gymnasium, and in 2004-2005 conducted ACCESS, a major gift project designed to enhance educational technology.
IMAGINE…OUR SECOND CENTURY
Lauralton Hall is in the early phase of a capital campaign for the enhancement of science and art facilities, the athletic program and many varied major campus improvements. More than $2 million has been committed to the campaign's objectives, toward a goal which will be ultimately determined to be between $5 and $7 million. The Lauralton Hall family will hear more about this campaign, Imagine . . .Our Second Century, during the 2008-2009 school year.
