Annual Giving - The Lauralton Fund

Annual Giving is a philanthropic behavior that provides a regular and sustained amount of annual financial support for both unrestricted and restricted gifts. The entire Lauralton Hall community is engaged philanthropically and it is the expectation and commitment by alumnae, parents, faculty, staff and friends to encourage and promote a culture of giving.

The new Lauralton Fund, our annual campaign for unrestricted gifts, follows the school’s fiscal year beginning July 1 and ending on June 30. It represents the mission of Lauralton Hall and is critical in achieving our short term goals.

BarnIn the 2011-2012 school year, unrestricted gifts made to the Annual Fund enabled us to

  • Increase financial aid support by 20% over the previous year
  • Implement our technology plan 2 years ahead of schedule
  • Add new sidewalks
  • Create a much-needed practice field.

In 2012-2013, Annual Fund gifts will

  • Increase the number of iPads and Kindles available to all students
  • Expand internet bandwidth capacity throughout the entire school and outdoor study areas
  • Enhance safety and encourage energy efficiencies by improving campus lighting
  • Support professional growth and development opportunities for our Faculty
